PREVENTIVE MODALITIES

3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: DHYGN 131, 133, and NUTR 110, all with a grade of C or better. This course will provide students with the knowledge and skills dental hygienists need to utilize selective preventive materials, and to understand and implement nutritional assessment as it relates to oral health. Student partners are used in the laboratory sessions. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week.
