3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: MLT 115 and MLT 116 with a grade of C or better; or department approval. This course is an introduction to clinical microbiology which includes collection and handling of biological specimens and bacteria identification techniques. Commonly encountered bacteria will be covered. Lecture and student laboratories are included. One and one-half lecture hours and three laboratory hours per week. (Formerly CLT 214; MEDLB 214)
