EMT PRACTICUM
Description/Long Course Title
1.0 to 3.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: EMS 114 with a grade of C or better or equivalent, current Illinois EMT licensure or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians EMT certification, and department approval. This course provides a planned and supervised clinical experience with local transport and non-transport emergency medical services agencies. During this course, students will be provided the opportunity to participate as a member of the healthcare delivery team in order to enhance the knowledge and skills learned in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course.
