2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Admission to the Medical Assistant Program and concurrently enrolled in MEDO 125 & MLT 112. This course provides an introduction of pharmacology for the medical assistant. Emphasis will be placed on basic drug terminology, drug classifications, and a drug's effect on the different body systems. One lecture hour and two laboratory hours per week.
