Description/Long Course Title

2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: DHYGN 113, DHYGN 117, and DHYGN 132, all with a grade of C or better. This course will introduce students to the study of dental deposits and their etiology in dental diseases, personal control of dental disease, periodontal charting, and the discussion of ancillary procedures, such as power-driven scalers and polishers, generalized patient assessment, appointment sequencing, and post-operative instruction. Two lecture hours per week.
