DENTAL SPECIALTIES

1.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Dental Hygiene Program, BIOL 140 and CHEM 115, both with a grade of C or better, or department approval. This course is an overview of selected specialty areas in dentistry. Material relevant to informing patients of treatment options will be emphasized. The use of student partners will be utilized to demonstrate the usage of selected materials. One lecture hour per week.
