2.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: Placement into ENGL 095 or higher, or equivalent, or departmental approval. This course is designed to introduce the student to medical terminology, including roots, prefixes, and suffixes, with emphasis on spelling, defining and application in the health care workplace. Two lecture hours per week.
