DENTAL HYGIENE CLINIC II

4.0 HR. (OC) Prerequisite: DHYGN 212, 222, and 230, all with a grade of C or better. This course is a continuation of DHYGN 230 with emphasis on root planning, topical medical application, preparation of study casts, periodontal charting and the use of ultrasonic scalers. Planned and supervised clinical experiences are arranged in the dental hygiene clinic and outside agencies. Twelve laboratory hours per week.
